As a non-profit organization, ReBoot-ATRC depends largely on donations to help our consumers and the environment.

ReBoot-ATRC accepts computers, software, assistive technology devices, durable medical equipment, and adaptive aids for recycling and redistribution to our consumers.

ReBoot-ATRC also accepts cell phones, PDAs, and other business equipment.

Any unusable items are disposed of in an environmentally safe and responsible manner.

ReBoot-ATRC has an EPA Identification number.

All donations are tax-deductible .

Our drop-off hours for accepting donations are 9 AM – 3 PM Monday-Friday. We will also pick up multiple computers (more than 10 systems); please call us for details or e-mail info@reboot-atrc.org.

Our recycling programs are listed below:

ReBoot Computer Recycling

ReBoot accepts computers for donation, evaluates the incoming systems, reformats the system's hard drive, performs repairs if needed, and uses the equipment to build a customized computer system for a person with a disability.

Over 7,500 systems have been “ReBooted” for people with disabilities since the program began.

ReBoot accepts the following donations of computer equipment for the program:

*Working Pentium II or faster computers (desktops or laptops) Macintosh models (desktops or laptops)

Computer monitors  Keyboards & mice

Speakers    Printers

Modems    Accessories

Software

*ReBoot requests a $10 donation to assist with disposal and handling costs per system.

Recycle your Cell Phone or PDA with CollectiveGood

Through partnership with CollectiveGood, we are able to accept and recycle cellular / mobile phones, which are then refurbished and redistributed to people in developing countries.

We are very excited about this program, which offers several benefits besides donation:

  • Preserving the environment by keeping mobile phones out of landfills and toxic metals out of drinking water.


  • Raising funds for ReBoot-ATRC programs & services

Personal Data Assistants (PDA's), e.g. PalmPilots

You can drop off your donation at our site or go to www.collectivegood.com for a postage-paid mailing label. Choose “Touch The Future—ReBoot & ATRC” as the charity you wish to support for your donation to be credited to us.
