Here are some bios for a few of our board members:

Lynda Greer, a portrait photographer, has been president of the Board
of Directors of Touch the Future for several years. Her experiences with people with disabilities started while she was working on a book. From 1988
to 1992 she photographed people with disabilities. Her subjects' portraits and stories, written in their own words, became a World For Change, later published by Longstreet Press. She also photographed people with disabilities working with assistive technology to be used in educational material.
Lynda feels very fortunate that her work as a portrait
photographer and volunteer with Touch The Future has enabled
her to meet so many wonderful, interesting individuals. She discovered while working on her book that disability doesn't define a person. With support and access to assistive technology, people with disabilities can lead full lives and make valuable contributions to their communities.
Being a member of the Touch The Future Board has given her the gratifying experience of seeing the capable, dedicated staff and volunteers at ReBoot-ATRC in action. She loves working with her fellow board members, who give selflessly of their time and talents, and who are a whole lot of fun.

Gary Goosman has assisted Touch The Future, Inc., in various volunteer capacities since his retirement from full-time work in 2003. Gary has served on the Touch The Future Inc., board of directors for about 2 years. He became involved with Touch The Future, Inc., after meeting Carolyn Phillips and being introduced to the ReBoot concept. His most memorable experience since serving on the Touch The Future board has been witnessing the dedication of ReBoot-ATRC staff and volunteers. Prior to his involvement with Touch The Future, Inc., Gary worked in facilities management and purchasing.

Rob has over ten years of experience with information technology. He specializes in network design and troubleshooting. In addition to his work with ReBoot-ATRC, Rob built a small consulting firm committed to increasing computer access for people with disabilities while associated with Touch The Future. He brings his experience as a team leader and project developer, as well as considerable technical expertise including Microsoft Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate, and Cisco Certified Design Associate certifications, to the benefit of the Touch The Future board. Currently Rob is employed by Jefferson Wells International as a project professional. Rob is a recent addition to the Touch the Future board.

Scott McCall is a recent addition to the Touch The Future Inc., board of directors, serving since March 2005. As a former rehabilitation professional and long-time assistive technology user, he appreciates the role technology plays in helping people achieve independence. Scott has seen that the tools, equipment, and instruction that ReBoot-ATRC provides its consumers make a direct impact on an individual's ability to lead a more independent and productive life, and looks forward to becoming more involved with ReBoot-ATRC. |
